[edit] Introduction
CLUG (and CCIT) offer an Ubuntu installation disk to be used primarily by Clemson employees and students. This CD contains extra packages for Clemson network use, to ease the transition from Windows to Linux, and is pre-configured to use the Clemson Ubuntu software repository. It is based on an Ubuntu alternate-installer CD. No live "desktop" CD/DVD is available.
[edit] Where can I download it?
Currently downloads are only available on-campus on the CLUG Server.
[edit] What software is on the disk?
Included on the latest version of the disk (CU 8.04) is a standard Hardy installation, along with the following Clemson packages:
- clemson-base
- clemson-network
